Early Praise for FRIENDS, SINS & POSSIBILITIES
Like the "cool Auntie" Summers work is both deliciously honest, provocative and heart-warmingly wholesome. She invites you into her heart and her soul to share with you tales that conjure up steaming coffees, buttermilk cookies, cooling pastries and old-world wisdom that has been tragically lost from our times. She makes no apology and hides behind no pretense and strives to be uncomplicated and uncompromisingly truthful, open and eager to invite you on a dance to the rhythms of inspiration. Her book "Friends, Sins and Possibilities" outline her life and her advice for our own journeys, warmly recounted, lovingly offered with generous helpings of humour, insight and down to earth beauty. I congratulate her on her startling honest, unabashed and deeply moving collection.- Brent Downes,Poet Deluxe, Chocolatier for Ya ears. Brisbane, Australia The stuff that life is made of; the things that women understand; those are the reasons I really like Susan’s poetry. In Friends, Sins and Possibilities she runs the gamut of human emotion. The first poem I read of hers was, Skinny Friends. Having been short and chunky all my life, I really identified with this poem. Unfortunately, men with no real substance, seem to prefer young – and thin. Among my other favorites are, A Portrait of My Mother and I Am Your Eve. Get a copy and enjoy all her well-written poems for yourself. Look for her live reading schedules – you will have a real good time – like I always do. When a poet reads their own creations, they always bring them to life because they know how they want them to sound. I am looking forward to more works from Susan. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In a world where there seems to only be loud noises and not a sweet song... If you are looking for a song, a feeling, the desire to be alive. These pages sing, cry, and laugh their way into each reader not afraid to hear, this is the way it is. -- Paul Richmond, Performer, Writer, Publisher, Organizer of Poetry / Spoken Word Festivals in Western MA. www.humanerrorpublishing.com
